What we collect

When you contact us or request a quote through this website, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, and the information you include about your property and security needs. We do not collect payment details through this website.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and prepare quotes you've requested
  • To schedule and carry out work you've engaged us for
  • To provide ongoing support for systems we've installed

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing you haven't asked for.

Website forms and hosting

This website is hosted by Netlify, and form submissions are processed by Netlify's form service before being delivered to our email. This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Security system data

Security systems we install — cameras, recorders, alarms and access control — store their footage and event data on your own equipment, under your control. We access customer systems only with your permission, for installation, configuration or support. Note that as the operator of a CCTV system, you may have your own obligations under Victorian surveillance and privacy law — we're happy to point you to plain-English guidance during your install.

Storage and retention

Enquiry and customer records are stored securely and retained only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, tax and warranty records).

Access and correction

You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email info@cerberusindustries.com.au and we'll respond promptly.
